I spend a lot of time (too much, in fact) reading other writers’ blogs, listening to podcasts, and procrastinating in various ways. I’ll be dropping links to various websites here as I find them and decide they’re interesting.

Blogs:

Lilith Saintcrow’s Daily Grind: Ever since coming across the Dante Valentine series, I’ve been a fan of her writings. And she’s pretty darn hilarious in her blog as well. She writes about writing, adventures with the kids, shenanigans with the pets, and very so often there’s some squirrel drama. Trust me, it’s a good read.

Chuck Wendig’s terribleminds: I think I came across his blog from a twitter thread he and Lilith Saintcrow had? I can’t remember the beginning, but I’ve loved it ever since. He’s very NSFW which is exactly my cup of tea, and there’s all sorts of hilarious stories involving being a writer, being a dad, and being a wonderfully weird human being.

Podcasts:

Writing excuses: 15-minute long blasts of mostly-coherent rambling from a group of writers. I admit, I’m very late to this party, but I’m enjoying it. One thing I like is that the guys talk about things they’ve learnt about writing and how they’ve learnt them. It’s a good way to surf through a lot of topics in a short space of time.
